As a child growing up in St. Phillip's Church, I remember Ms. Alice and my mother, Frances sharing a pew for over 50 yrs. I always admired Ms. Alice's lovable demeanor and impeccable dress. She was a role model. An icon even. I always enjoyed seeing her when I would go back to visit church on special ocassions. She always had hugs and kisses for me (and one can never have too many of those) I will miss her sweetness immensely. May God's love comfort you during this difficult time and may you seek solace in knowing that Ms. Alice is seated at the right hand of the Father and his mercy endureth forever.

To the Reid and Calloway families:
Alice will always be remembered as an elegant, positive and vibrant heroine in Richmond who has left an important legacy for all of us to cherish. Please know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers during this time of sorrow. May God's comfort and grace surround you with fond memories of her.
