Alice Coder Obituary
Alice worked for the Avon Lake City Schools for 30 years and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Avon Lake. She was an avid reader, a baker, and a sewer. Alice had a heart to serve and volunteered for the Cancer Society; for St. John Medical Center; was a member of the Playhouse Square Redcoats and was a Continental Airline Ambassador. Above all, being with family is where Alice found true joy and her faith was her strength.
She is survived by her loving children Kimberly Krause (Karl) of Amherst, Gayle Faraji (Bejan) of Avon Lake, Lori Barthmuss (Dave) of Thousand Oaks, CA. and Jill Sestak (Kevin) of Medina; cherished grandchildren Shawn Kirkbride (Susan), Matthew Reynolds (Kara), Christopher Faraji (Laura), Raya Faraji, Morgan Huber (Matt), Hannah Barthmuss, Nicole DuBro (Sam) and Cory Sestak (Karrie) and 14 adoring great-grandchildren; dear siblings Maryann Wilson (Dave), Dave Glaser, Sr. Anne Glaser, and Paul Glaser (Elaine).
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 72 years, Clarence Coder; parents; and siblings David and Mary Ann.
