Alice Faye Darmofal

Alice Faye Darmofal, the daughter of the late Carl DeProw and Pauline Crabtree DeProw, was born on August 15, 1940, in Tallapoosa, MO.

On November 27, 1987, in Ohio, she was united in marriage to Steven Michael Darmofal. He survives.

She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Tallapoosa. She was also a prior mayor of Tallapoosa.

Mrs. Darmofal died Monday, February 23, 2026, at her residence in Tallapoosa, MO, at the age of 85 years.

Survivors include her husband, Steven Darmofal of Tallapoosa; 1 son, Donnie Lumley of Arnold, MO; 2 brothers, Russell DeProw and Marty DeProw both of Tallapoosa; Granddaughter that she raised, Brittney Cooper (Daniel) of Malden, MO; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren, Noah Cooper, Paisley Cooper and Polly Cooper; 4 nieces, Rachel, Amy, Stacey and Carla; 3 nephews, Roger, Russell Allen and Randy and a host of other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by 1 daughter, Donna Lumley.

A visitation will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, February 27, 2026, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 P.M., in the chapel, with Reverend Randy DeProw officiating. Burial will be in the Rosewood Cemetery in Malden.
