In Loving Memory of Alice Clark Davis

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Alice Clark Davis on July 26, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold Davis, parents Elizabeth and M. Graham Clark, and her sister Elizabeth Embser. Alice is survived by her children: Eva Davis-Boulton (Michael), William Davis (Deborah), and Gale Davis (Michelle); and her cherished grandchildren: Anna Boulton, Millicent Boulton, Madeline Davis, Andrew Davis, Hoyt Davis, and Martha Davis; and her beloved sisters Margaret Miller and Julia Hampton.

Alice was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother. Her warmth, wisdom, and kindness will be remembered by all who knew her. She went to Spring Street Elementary, School of the Ozarks for high school (where she met her husband), and Emory University for undergraduate studies and master's degree.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to The First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta in her memory. Alice was a lifelong member of the church, where she was also married. Her deep connection to the church spanned generations-her parents were members and married there as well, and her grandparents were among its founding members.
