EACHO, Alice Marie Lipscomb, 81, of Highland Springs, passed away Friday, May 30, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nelson and Cassie Lipscomb; her husband, Robert W. Eacho; a son, Robert E. Eacho Sr.; sister, Irene L. Daughtry; three brothers, Nelson, Grover, and David Lipscomb. She is survived by a son, Charles S. Eacho Sr.; daughter, Brenda E. Redford (James); brother, Stanley Lipscomb; three sisters, Martha King, Bertha Eacho, Susie Seymour; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Alice was a retiree of American Tobacco. The family will receive friends Monday, June 2, 2008, at Nelsen Funeral Home & Crematory, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, with Rev. Ken Smith officiating. Interment Signal Hill Memorial Park, Hanover, Va. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Mended Hearts, Central Virginia Chapter 28, P.O. Box 70234, Richmond, Va. 23255-0234.

Dear Brenda and Family,

I'm so sorry for your lost. Your mom was a wonderful example of courage and strength. I know how much you all must be hurting but Alice is now in Heaven with more happiness than she's ever known.
