Funeral services for Alice Jane Etheridge, 68, of Winnsboro, LA will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 26, 2023, in the Chapel of Dennard First National Funeral Home, with Rev. Kevin Bates officiating, and interment following at Ogden Cemetery in Liddieville, LA; visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
Alice Jane, a nurse, was born June 22, 1954, to the union of the late Hunter Bradley "Pete" Etheridge and the late Gloria June Walker Etheridge, in Panama City, FL and went to her eternal rest May 24, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her family.
Alice was preceded in death by her son Philip Southern; her husband James E. Neal; her brother Matthew Etheridge; her maternal grandparents Randall A. Walker, Sr. and Alice Jordan Walker; her paternal grandparents James B. Etheridge and Margaret Jane Bradley Etheridge; and her niece Nicki Etheridge.
Alice Jane is survived by her sons: Terence Hill, daughter in love Rachel Hill and Jay Neal and wife Ginger; brother Brad Etheridge and wife Andrea; granddaughters: Macey Hill, Madison Hill, Mollie Hill, Morgan Neal, Hannah Lee, Taylor Haynes, and Lyndsey Buxton; grandsons: James Neal, Drake Southern, and Collier Southern; nephew Jason Etheridge; niece Kallie Etheridge; great-nephew Bradley Etheridge; and a host of others whom she called "sons".
The pallbearers will be Trace Cheek, Bentley Eaton, James Neal, Jameson Turner, James Wooldridge, and Kaleb Wyant.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Etheridge, Joey Erskin, Jay Erskin, William Neal, Robin Vester, Drake Southern, Collier Southern, Jason Etheridge, and Randy Walker.
