Alice was born on July 23, 1929. She enjoyed a full and wonderful life. Born at the end of the Roaring Twenties, she experienced the Great Depression and a World War while growing up with her sisters Margaret, Dorothy, Annabelle and brother John at their 29 Gould Street home. She went to St. Joseph Elementary School and graduated from Wakefield High School. Alice was a joiner, she loved being involved with people and cherished her friends. Be it a bake sale, rummage sale, yard sale, pot luck dinner or bingo she brought a high spirited personality that often led to a humorous or zany story. She was fun.
Alice and John started out in a small apartment on Emerson street before buying a home in Reading Mass. With four sons they moved back to Wakefield buying the family home at 46 Emerson Street, and welcomed a daughter. Later in life they seasoned between their homes in York, ME and Venice FL.
