Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Faye Hart, 84, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 4, 2024, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Interment will follow in Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe, LA. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hart was born August 5, 1939, in Monroe, LA, and passed away March 1, 2024, at her home in Monroe. She was a member of North Monroe Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hart was a lifelong native of Monroe and attended Ouachita Parish High School. She raised her five children in the Buckhorn Bend community. She loved spending time with her family and was an avid sports fan. She was everyone’s biggest cheerleader.
Mrs. Hart was preceded in death by her parents, Irving and Kate Bonnet; husband, Kenneth Hart; daughter, Laurie Hart; son, Brent Hart; and brother, Albert Ray Bonnet.
Survivors include her daughters, Debbie Hart and Beth Hart; son, Brad Hart (Shanny); 17 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and sister, Peggy Van.
Pallbearers will be Mason Hart, TJ Gentry, Mark Manhart, and Sam Schilage.
The family would like to thank Caldwell Memorial Rehabilitation and Citizens Medical Center for the wonderful care they’ve provided.
