Mrs. Alice Slaughter Haskins, age 89, of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, died Thursday evening, September 5, 2024 in Nashville, Tennessee. Mrs. Haskins was born in Marshall County and was a daughter of the late Everett Houston and Ruby Haynes Slaughter.
Mrs. Alice was a long time member of Caney Spring Baptist Church in the Caney Spring Community of Marshall County. She was a homemaker and had retired from Henry Horton State Park after 26 years of service.
Mrs. Haskins is survived by her sons, Gary (Tracy) Haskins, Lewisburg, TN, Murray Haskins, Chapel Hill, TN; sister, Ruth Moore, Unionville, TN; grandchildren, Jeremy (Danae) Haskins, Jessica Haskins, Lee Haskins, Justin (Carolanne) King, Josh (MacKenzie) King, Jessica (Chris) King; great grandchildren, Titus (Anna) Haskins, Nathan Haskins, Anna Haskins, Issac Haskins, Charis Haskins, Jonah Haskins, Audrey Hughes, Jamie Hughes, Mattie King, Weston King, William King and Casey King.
Family members will receive friends on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 8, 2024 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Jeremy Haskins officiating.
