Alice Loewe Johnson, known for her kind and compassionate spirit, passed away on June 10, 2024 at the age of 73, at the Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas, NC. She was born on March 28, 1951, in Columbia, SC to the late Herman Loewe and Mae Gottlieb Loewe.
Alice was a devoted caregiver who found joy in taking care of the elderly supporting those in need. Her nurturing nature touched the lives of many individuals who were fortunate enough to know her. She also immensely enjoyed her career as a hotel hospitality coordinator. She developed many friendships through her generous hospitality and gained lifelong friends through the years.
She had a love for nature and enjoyed spending time outdoors. Alice found solace in activities such as camping, reading, tending to her garden filled with beautiful flowers, and observing the beauty of birds in their natural habitat.
Among Alice's proudest accomplishments was her unwavering love for her family and adoration for her grandchildren. Surviving family members include her husband of 35 years, Lynn Johnson; her sons, Brian Cox and wife Nicole and Michael Johnson and wife Atasha; her sisters and their husbands whom she cherished like her brothers, Barbara Drucker and husband Meyer and Susan Fetter and husband Allen; and her beloved grandchildren: Caden Cox, Kayler Cox, Breanna Kirkland, Savannah Johnson, Lily Johnson, and Isaiah Johnson.
A visitation to honor Alice's life will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00 PM at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services located at 101 Oak Grove St., Mt. Holly, NC 28120.
