To the family and friends of "Memere" Labonte:

First of all, I would like to offer my most heartfelt condolences to all of you.

I had the good fortune to meet and know your "Memere." I was introduced to her by her granddaughter, Dorothy, and I was struck by her loveliness. Such a wonderful lady. After meeting her, I felt that I had known her for years, such a gracious woman. I only wish that I had known her sooner. I know that she will be sorely missed, as she loved everyone, and was dearly loved in return.

Again, my most heartfelt condolences. I'm sure that wherever she is, she is looking after all of us.

God bless,

Dear Children & Grandchildren of Memere,

It has been a week now since our beloved Memere has left us. We still feel the pain of losing, but we have to think of her as being in heaven with Pepere, her firstborn son and her parents. She is happy and rejoicing and she wants us to do the same. She probably has everyone singing, playing cards and bingo.

I will always miss her and love her forever, but I have many happy memories of her like we all do. We had one BIG HAPPY FAMILY and we can continue to keep that love and togetherness growing if we try to keep in close contact with each other.

As I told some of my cousins, I have access to a clubhouse where I live and it accomodates 101 people. It also has all facilities (including pool and card tables) and an outdoor playground. So call me or e-mail me anytime you want to plan a BIG FAMLY PARTY.

Love to All of You,

Dorothy

Dear Mom, Aunts and Uncles,

Pam and I are deeply saddened at the loss of Memere. She has ALWAYS been such a beautiful part of our lives for so many years that it is hard to believe that she is no longer with us. Memere taught us many things. But above all she taught us how to LOVE. And she taught us how important FAMILY is! No one will ever forget her love to play cards or how about those meat pies and raisin pies! Weren't they the BEST!! Or her cookies!! And, we will always hear her singing those famous French songs. Money can never buy or replace what Memere and Pepere gave to all of us. We hope that all our family will always share her memories and stay together throughout the years ahead. We love you ALL so very much and will keep you in our prayers. TO MEMERE - We will love you and think of you often until we see you again! John and Pam
