Alice Lacey Obituary
Devoted wife, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt, Alice Lacey passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours of December 14, 2024. She was 84 years young.
Alice was born in Washington, DC She attended Bladensburg High School and married James E. Lacey Sr on April 19, 1958 at Saint Bernard Catholic Church in Riverdale Maryland. She raised 6 children and contributed to the family with running a home day care, she also worked in the family business and later in life worked as a nurse assistance at greenbelt nurse home. Retiring in 1994 so she could spend more time enjoying her grand kids.
After the passing of James in 1991, Alice vigorously pursued additional activities, including playing Bingo, Casino, boating trips out of Annapolis Md. also Vacationing in Solomon, Ocean City Maryland, and Outer Banks NC with friends and family.
Alice preceded in death by, her husband James Lacey Sr her parents Author and Alice (Bishop), brother Hubert Donnelly, sister Betty (Schroeder), brother-in-law Charles Schroeder ,nephew Steve Schroeder, Brother in- law Joseph and John Lacey Sr, Sister-in-law Marsha Lacey, nephew John Lacey Jr, her son Francis Lacey Sr, her adopted daughter Melissa (Brady) Lacey. her son-law Rodney Brady, and her grandson Francis Lacey Jr.
Alice is survived by her children.
Edna Ciuffetelli, Terri (William) Willey, James (Rebecca) Lacey Jr, Charles (Sandra) Lacey and close family friend Ron Ciuffetelli.

Visitation and viewing will be held on December 19, 2024, at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte.301 South) Bowie, Maryland 20715 from 9:00AM until 10:00AM with a Funeral Service to be held at 10:00AM. At 12 noon Immediately following, Alice will be laid to rest with her husband at historic Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, Maryland 20722
