Alice Laino Obituary
Alice L. Laino, age 88 of Enon passed away Wednesday December 11, 2024. She was born April 13, 1936 in Ayr, Scotland, the daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Neill) Sykes. Alice was a longtime member of the Our Lady Queen Of Peace at WPAFB. She enjoyed puzzles, Sudoku, traveling and her dogs. Spending time with family was very important to her.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio "Tony" Laino; two brothers, Joe Sykes, Edward Sykes; and sister, Sheena Kewley. Alice is survived by her five children, Debra (Keith) Sullivan, Edward (Elaine) Laino, Vincent Laino, Theresa Hartley and Stephen (Heather) Laino; 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday December 18, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Father Donald Moss, Celebrant. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Alice will be laid to rest next to her husband at Enon Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Alice to Hospice of Dayton or ASPCA. Condolences may be made to the family at www.BeltonStroup.com.
