Alice F. "Bass" Lomenic

Alice Bass-Lomenic was born June 27, 1945, in Temple, Texas. She accepted Christ at a young age and attended Eighth Street Baptist Church. She attended Meredith Dunbar from 1961-1964, where she was a member of the volleyball, basketball, and track team.

Alice faithfully served Bell County during her career before enjoying her well-earned retirement. She will be remembered as devoted mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend. A loyal supporter of the Baylor bears and the Dallas Cowboys. Alice also found her greatest joy in the company of her beloved family. She will be remembered for her unwavering love and the countless memories she created with her family.

Alice was preceded in death by her mother, Mattie; father, John; sisters, Shelly and Charlene; and brothers, Larry, Eddie and Melvin.

Survivors are four sisters, Edna Pearl Bennett of Belton, Texas, Lanell Boyer and Rae (aka Della) Burnley both of Temple, Texas, and Gloria Means of Round Rock, Texas; two sons, Johnny H. Bass, Jr. and Edwrick Q. Bass both of Temple, Texas; daughters, Sandra G. Combs of Temple, Texas, Teresa A. Joyner (Anthony) of Angier, North, Carolina, Maria U. Daniels (Jason) of Phenix City, Alabama; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
