Alice Lenora Pemberton, age 87, of Billings, Oklahoma, passed away on July 27, 2025, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center, in Enid, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at the Billings Christian Church with Pastor Kurtis Stoll officiating. Alice will be laid to rest at Billings Union Cemetery following the service.

Alice was born on January 20, 1938, in Three Sands, Oklahoma, to Thomas and Lula (Cushing) Burris. She attended Three Sands Elementary School and Tonkawa High School. Alice and Delbert Pemberton were united in marriage on May 12, 1954, in Newkirk, Oklahoma. Together the couple raised five children. Alice worked as a custodian and bus driver for Billings Public Schools before her retirement.

Survivors include: her children, Teresa (Bob) Pittman of Enid, OK, Don (Barbara) Pemberton of Billings, OK, John (Kathy) Pemberton of Okeene, OK, Melinda (Mark) Branson of Billings, OK, Ronnie (Billie) Pemberton of Garber, OK; and her brother, Leroy (Dorothy) Burris of Braman, OK; grandchildren: Brandi Humphries (Kevin Losten), Susie (Parker) Smelser, April (Kevin) Henson, Clint Becker, Rob (Kim) Pittman, Lori Wolfe, Jay (Amy) Pemberton, Darin (Karma) Pemberton, Kaylee (Dustin) Smelser, Michael Branson, McKayla (Tyler) Bohon, Beth Diaz, Darryan (Parker) Betchan, Trisha (Garrett) Ools, Dakima Wedel, and Dobbs Wedel; 29 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. Alice is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.

Alice is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lula Burris; husband, Delbert Pemberton; three sisters; and four brothers.

Family visitation will be held from 5-7 PM at Trout Funeral Home of Perry on Monday, July 28, 2025.
