Alice Podeswa Obituary

Podeswa, Alice L.
NASSAU - Alice L. Podeswa, 96, entered Eternal Life, Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family. Alice was born in Greenport, N.Y., to the late Edward and Anna Drabik Miller.
Alice enjoyed swimming, painting and sewing, where she would make beautiful gifts and sweaters especially for Christmas.
Alice was predeceased by her husband, Louis Podeswa; her brothers, Leonard and Thomas Miller.
Alice is survived by her companion, Kazimierz Korolewicz; her children, Christopher Podeswa (Teresa Schehr), Timothy Podeswa (Hope Devine), Louis Podeswa (Anne Marie), Sharon Skrocki (Raymond) and Dennis Podeswa; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Alice's family Sunday, November 2, 2025, at McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 N. Allen St., Albany, N.Y. 12206, 2 to 5 p.m. Please enter the funeral home from the rear parking lot entrance only.
Alice's Funeral Service will be Monday, November 3, 2025, in the funeral home, 10 a.m.
The Rite of Committal will follow the service in Memory Garden's Cemetery, Colonie, N.Y.
