Alice Reis Obituary
Alice loved camping at the ocean with her family in her younger years, and she sometimes went snow skiing, bringing grandkids with her. In recent years, her yearly excursions with her sisters, daughter, and nieces to various destinations were a highlight. Alice loved horses, making her banana bread for friends, and was devoted to her church.
Alice is survived by her children, Leo (Cheryl) Reis of Ione, CA; Chris (Cheryl) Reis of Pioneer, CA; Steve (Alles) Reis of Gridley, CA; and Alicia (Robert) Harvey of Sacramento, CA. Grandchildren, Leo Reis, Michelle (Pat) Riley, Jonathan (Ali) Reis, Nicole (Danny) Bowers, Amanda (Jeff) Towers, Elliott (Gitaine) Reis, Leann (Adam) Dodson, Robert Harvey Jr., and Alison Harvey. Great Grandkids, Porter and Tyson Reis, Celaya and Tanner Riley, Keersten, Kennedy and Kimber Reis, Briana, Taylor and Blake Bowers, Carson, Reis, Asher Towers, Leighton Dodson, and one on the way; sisters, Nancy, Sally & Betty. She is preceded by her husband, Leo Reis, and daughter-in-law, Lori Reis.
A Funeral service will take place on Monday, January 19, 2026, at 11:00 am at Daneri Mortuary Chapel in Jackson, CA. Followed by a graveside service at Ione Public Cemetery.

Cathy Bolger-Walke, I meet Alice when my parent's rented a pasture across the street from her Family's home. She and I had a love for horses. The only thing she loved more than horses was her Family. Her husband bought her a horse., an expense they couldn't afford. He was determine to reach all her dreams.
They showed me what true love was through illness, fiancall struggles and the most challenging situations. They never wavered in their love of Family. I haven't seen her in years but have never forgotten and will always admire he love for her Family.
