Alice Marie Seaver

Alice Marie Seaver, 86, of Lexington, KY, passed away peacefully in the early hours of Sunday, March 29, 2026.

Alice is survived by her three children: Evelyn Cerelli, Lillian Ellis (Rick), and Nelson Gove; her grandchildren: Anthony Cerelli, Frank Gove, Krystal Gove, Haley Loman (Gabriel) and Lailoni Gove; as well as several great-grandchildren. As the youngest of 10 children, she loved her family deeply until the very end.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Evelyn McKeown, and two sons, Leon Carl Gove Jr. and James Gove.

Though originally from Massachusetts, Alice loved calling Kentucky home. She was cherished by her church family and never tired of learning about Jesus and growing in her faith.

Her smile and sense of humor were contagious, and in her quiet way she always made others feel special. She was an avid bowler for over 50 years and found joy in crocheting afghans for single mothers in need.

While her family and friends will miss her dearly, we are comforted knowing that her faith has now become sight. She is now eternally healed and whole in the presence of Christ.

Visitation will be at Restoration Church (1206 N. Limestone, Lexington, KY 40505) on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 4:00pm to 5:30pm, followed by a service at 5:30pm.
