Funeral Services for Alice A. Travelstead are Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 6, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday 10:00 a.m. until service time in McKenzie, TN. Interment is at Oak Grove Cemetery, Trezevant.
Mrs. Travelstead, 75 years old, died Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Huntingdon. She is a retired Bus Driver for the West Carroll School District, a Road Crew member for TDOT and a member of Leach Full Gospel Church. She was born in Elk City, KS on January 17, 1948 to Verlyn and Virginia Cunningham Vaughn.
She is survived by her husband Michael Travelstead, daughters Valerie (Charles) Cornforth of Huntingdon, Kimberly K. Spaht of Trezevant a brother Richard Vaughn of Trezevant, three grandchildren Jacob (Alexanderia) Cunningham, Chelcie Oseni and Candice (Kory) Wilson and six great-grandsons Brooks, Clay, Avery, Landon, Layton and Leveyn.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Barry Vaughn.
