Funeral Services for Dr. Walton will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 2:30 PM at Upper Room Ministries of Greater Gainesville Church of God in Christ, 3575 NE 15th Street, Gainesville, FL 32609. There will be no public viewing. Burial will take place in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery ,2837 NW 13th Street Gainesville, FL.
Resolutions may be emailed to [email protected]. Floral arrangements may be ordered online at www.chestnutfh.com or delivered to Chestnut Funeral Home, 18 NW 8th Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32601.

So Sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Alice Walton, I'm praying for you her family at this time and I have known this family for many years from Williams Temple Church Of God In Christ and At Cross Roads church of Christ.

Alice was once my former neighbor in Gainesville back in the 70's.
She truly be Missed by many.
So to read of her transitioning.
My she sleeping in heaven, resting in our Masters Care.
