Alice Whitlock

Alice Whitlock BONNEAU, SC - Alice Corryn Donnelly Whitlock, 69, of Bonneau, SC, died peacefully May 12, 2023, surrounded by her family. Alice was a lifelong member of Suttons Methodist Church and had held various church positions. She was the daughter of Miriam H. Donnelly and the late James F. Donnelly, Jr and was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Donnelly. Surviving are: husband, Bruce E. Whitlock of Bonneau; son, Charles E. Whitlock of Andrews; daughter, Catherine E. Whitlock of Conway; grandson, Sutton R. Whitlock of Bonneau; mother, Miriam H. Donnelly of Andrews; sister, Melanie D. Brooks (Butch) of Moncks Corner; nephew, Art Brooks (Johnna) of Moncks Corner; niece, Melissa Tompkins of North Myrtle Beach; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Alice enjoyed her grandson and many outdoor activities. She was formerly employed by Milliken Industries, Charleston Naval Shipyard, General Engineering Laboratories, and Roche Pharmaceutical. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Suttons Methodist Church from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Monday May 15, 2023. The funeral service will start at 4:00 pm, and the graveside service will follow at Suttons Methodist Church Cemetery. Flowers and memorials will be accepted.
