Alice Marie Zielike

Zielike, Alice Marie 93 of Edina, MN, formerly of Milbank, SD passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 2nd. She was born in rural Grant County, SD to Richard and Lydia (Stengel) Liebe. During WWII she was the first female employee for the Cutler Hammer plant in Milwaukee. After the war she managed the Ross Hardware Store in Milbank prior to her marriage to Lenoard Zielike on September 11, 1949. Following Lenoard's death in 1956, she worked for Riddle's Jewelry then later retired from Kock Elementary School. She is survived by one son, Richard (Sally) Zielike, Edina, MN and their children Andrew and Amanda Zielke; one daughter, Dr. Carol Zielike (Tom) Graslie of Rapid City, SD and their daughters Lydia, Serri, and Emily Graslie. A celebration of life will be Monday, August 6th at 2:00 p.m. At Central United Methodist Church, Milbank. Visitation will be at the church, one hour prior to the service.
