Alicia Marie DiMiceli peacefully passed away at Ochsner Main Campus on the morning of October 21, 2024. At her passing, Alicia was surrounded by family.
Alicia was born September 30, 1978, in Metairie at Lakeside Hospital and was a longtime resident of Harvey, LA. She resided in Carriere, MS for many years. She was a graduate of Immaculata High School, University of New Orleans, and Le Cordon Bleu of Atlanta. Most recently, Alicia was employed at Slidell Memorial Hospital where she worked in the insurance section of the Emergency Department.
Alicia was preceded in death by her grandparents Marie and Louis DiMiceli, Doris and Joseph Bronzo, mother Josephine “Betty” Bronzo DiMiceli and her uncles Daniel “Danny” Bronzo, Salvador “Sonny” DiMiceli, Dennis Crombie, John Vinet, Wheldon Boyd and her aunt Joanne DiMiceli Vinet. She is survived by her father Anthony “Tony” DiMiceli, sister Lauren DiMiceli, aunts Lena DiMiceli Crombie, Patricia Bronzo Seipel and Patsy Hoyt Boyd, uncle John “Steve” Seipel, as well as many Boyd, Crombie, Seipel, Vinet, and Biondolillo cousins.
Alicia has been the kind care giver for her father the last few years. She had a loving heart and beautiful soul that was rooted deep in her Italian heritage. She loved her dog, Remi, her LSU Tigers, and sharing recipes and food sites with others.
Funeral services for Alicia will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA Wednesday October 30, 2024 at 9:30-11:00AM. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00AM at the funeral home. The internment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery in Gretna, LA.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to the Ochsner ICU Main Campus doctors’, nurses’, and techs’ kindness and care for Alicia in her last hours.
