In Loving Memory of Alicia Mackie
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and wife, Alicia
Mackie. Alicia passed away peacefully and surrounded by her husband, William Sr., and
her children, William Jr., Anthony, Cariann, and her loyal dog Thurman. Born on July 22,
1962, in New York City, to Anthony and Carrie Bellantoni, Alicia was the youngest of 2
siblings and a cousin to many. A soon-to-be grandmother and an aunt to many nieces and
nephews, she loved her family more than anything.
A lifelong worker in the healthcare services industry, Alicia started her career working at
the front desk of a nursing home, where she met her husband of 33 years, eventually
working her way up and rising to an Executive position within her company.
Alicia was the heart and soul of the Mackie family and known for her generosity and care to
others. Forever thoughtful to others, Alicia volunteered for and participated in numerous
causes she was passionate about including the PTA, St. Joseph's Church, and VFW.
However, nothing brought Alicia greater joy than being a baseball mom for her boys and a
dance mom for Cariann.
Services will be held on Friday, November 7th from 4pm-8pm at Perry's Funeral Home
followed by a burial at Pinelawn on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, the Mackie family kindly requests that donations be made to Gray for
Glioblastoma.
