Obituary of Allan R Fagan
Allan Richard Fagan was born on April 1, 1930 on his family's dairy farm in Stanley Wisconsin. His parents were John and Anna Fagan. He had an older brother Jim, a younger brother Robert and a younger sister Bette Ann. He grew up in Stanley where he went to school and worked on the farm. After graduating high school, he married Dorothy Ann Seidling. He then joined the Army where he served overseas and later went to work for the CIA both overseas and in Virginia until he retired. He and Dorothy had two sons, Bruce Allan and Kent Allan. He moved to Viera, Florida in 2001 where has lived ever since. He joined St John's Catholic church when it was still in a temporary government building. He went on to usher there for many years until shortly before he passed. He has three grandchildren, Karissa, Mikaela and Daniel.
Even though he grew up fairly poor during the great depression and longed to leave the farm, he retained a love of gardening. He almost always had a garden. He was quite a football fan, early on he followed the Green Bay Packers and then the Washington Redskins. After living in Florida he also liked the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Allan was proud of his family. His son Bruce was the first in his overall family to graduate from college. His son Kent went into the Army and later graduated college with a PhD, also a first in the family. His granddaughter Karissa graduated with a degree in nursing. Mikaela and Daniel are currently in college.
