Allan Roscoe Gaskins

Mr. Allan Roscoe Gaskins, 74, passed away peacefully with Beverly by his side to celebrate his first Christmas in Heaven on December 25, 2025.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2025, at 11 AM at Wilkerson Funeral Chapel in Vanceboro. A visitation will be held prior from 10 AM – 11 AM.
Allan Roscoe Gaskins retired from Jimmy Morris & Sons construction after more than 25 years of service. Before that, he worked various other construction jobs as a lineman. He was a volunteer for Vanceboro Rescue 15 and a dedicated fireman for more than 25 years. He was very loved by his community and never met a stranger. Allan was an avid outdoorsman who loved being outside. He enjoyed hunting bear, deer, and turkey. He enjoyed being in his garden. One of his favorite places to be was on a farm on a tractor. He also enjoyed cooking collards. Allan loved spending time with his family and being Papa to his grandbaby, Paisley. He was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed.
He was predeceased by his parents, Bernard Roscoe & Esther Jones Gaskins; brother, Craig Gaskins; and a sister, Marjorie Gaskins.
He is survived by his companion, Beverly Woolard; sister, Dianne Gaskins-Kite and husband Stanley; brother, Sammy Gaskins and wife Cindy; daughter, Kristy Gaskins; granddaughters, Paisley Smith and Kenleigh Hawkins; and stepchildren, Victoria Smith and husband Jordan, Brandy Morris, Melissa Stox, and Cody Stox and wife Ashley.
