Cumberland, MD – Allan Edward McGee, 82, of Cumberland, MD, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Devlin Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born September 27, 1942, in Cumberland, MD, Mr. McGee was the son of the late Edward Francis McGee and Madeline Mary (Christman) McGee. He was also preceded in death by his wife: Sandra McGee; his brother: Gary McGee; and was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Allan was formerly employed at the Old German Brewery, Schmidt Bakery, Western Maryland Distributing, and Farley's Foodland. He was volunteer fireman at Bedford Road Volunteer Fire Department for many years and was a former member of the Moose.
Allan is survived by his daughter: Carol Ketterman and husband, Gregory; his grandchildren: Aaron Ketterman (Jacob) and Ronald Ketterman; great grandchildren: Abrey Ketterman and Aiden Ketterman; and his great great grandchild: Anthony Jared McElfish.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com) on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 11:00 A.M.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
