Allan L. Needleman

Allan L. Needleman, 82, September 22, 2024. Allan was a proud father and grandfather, a loving husband, and a dear friend to many – just ask the people he met in line at Wawa each morning. He was happiest with rod in hand, surf fishing for blues on the beaches of Long Beach Island. He loved fixing things that may or may not have been broken, reading the latest Silva or Grisham novels, and sharing interesting facts about various topics he Googled for fun. We will miss his jokes and stories and watching him spend time with his granddaughters, whom he loved so very much. Allan added so much color to so many lives, especially his Overbrook crew in Florida, who spent countless hours together at Panera. He will be greatly missed. Husband of Barbara (nee Davis). Father of Jamie Newman and Leslie (David) Klass. Brother of Marvin (Edie) Needleman, Martin (Judy) Needleman, and Marcia (the late Roger) Persin. Grandfather of Zoe and Piper Newman and Skye Sorkin. Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial service on Tuesday at 1 PM precisely at the home of Leslie and David Klass. Shiva will be observed at their home Tuesday following services to 6 PM and Wednesday and Thursday from 4 PM to 8 PM. Contributions in his memory may be made to Heart's Promise Sheltie Rescue, 219 E.
