In memory of
Hernan Barros
March 14, 2026
An irreparable loss that sadden Us much, but at the same time leads us to remember Al as the great man he always was. His defining characteristics were always kind words, smiles, attentiveness, and interest in knowing how our country and, above all, the company were doing. We consider him and Beth our friends, as well as Jenn, their daughter... and we thank God for giving Us the opportunity to share lunch the last time we traveled to Amigo Mobility and for allowing us to hug them. Thank you for everything, dear Al; we're sure your journey to that luminous realm is beautiful and full of adventures. Sincerely, Hernan and Erika Barros- Ecuador

His presence touched the lives of so many-through his kindness, his strength, and the quiet but powerful way he lifted others up. He was the kind of person whose impact didn´t fade when he walked out of a room; it stayed with you, inspiring you long after.
To lose someone like him is to lose a light-steady, strong, and guiding. But even in this grief, there is comfort in knowing that his legacy lives on in every life he blessed, every smile he sparked, every moment he made better just by being in it.
May his memory bring warmth when the days feel cold. May his lessons continue to guide us. And may we honor him by living
with the same grace, generosity, and courage he showed every day.
Though he is no longer here, the love he gave and the life he lived will echo forever.
You will miss dear friend .

My sympathy on the loss of Al. He was a creative man, and lived life to the fullest. I have been blessed to know him for decades. I drove once a year from Ohio to Amigo headquarters to service my Amigo. But not really. I came to visit my dear friend Al, his wife Beth, and the AMIGO NATION. That is the Thieme family and the other family of those who serve at the company. Al´s legacy is the fine people who continue his love of people by helping them journey through life a little easier with their carts! May you rest in peace!

My sympathies we share with Al´s family. Thiemes have been friends and neighbors both in Saginaw and Sugar Springs. Al was always willing to share information and tips when we asked. Years ago he managed to arrange an Amigo for my mother long distance in Arizona. We loved hosting Al and Beth in their search for the lake home. We loved watching them make it the center of their large family life. My prayers are for you all as I know he will be missed

I had worked for Al years back w/Amigo and will never forget his hug at the end of my work with the company. I thought that was pretty cool- it was a great company to work for and enjoyed my time with his son as well. Learned allot and I appreciated the time. Prayers for the family.

Al was one of the greatest men I have met in my life. I wasn't even a direct employee of Amigo, but a contract servicer in the Northwest United States. His concern even for me made me feel like an Amigo employee though. I believe the heart of a company comes from its owner or upper management. In my 42 years of servicing and working for various companies, none had the heart that Amigo has. To have known Al I consider to be a privilege of my life.
