Allan T Yackevicz

Allan T. Yackevicz, of East Bridgewater, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Allan worked as a truck driver for 35+ years, which grew his love for New England and the beautiful scenery and change of the seasons. He was an avid golfer, sharing this love with his family and enjoying the game as much as possible up until just a month ago. Allan was a talented craftsman and woodworker. He enjoyed antiquing, traveling, and site seeing. Allan's main passion in life was his family and spending time with those he loved, especially his grandchildren. He will be remembered for his larger-than-life sense of humor. Allan will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Beloved husband of 62 years to Lynne S. Yackevicz (Beals) of East Bridgewater. Loving father of Thomas Yackevicz and his wife Victoria of Texas, Kellie Auditore and her husband Joseph of Wareham, and Debbie Yackevicz and her companion Peter Doherty of East Bridgewater. Adored Papa of Taiyve, Gregory, Branden, Joshua, Katie, Brian, Corey, Pete, and Devinn. Also survived by 11 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 4-7 PM in the Chapman Funeral Home, EAST BRIDGEWATER. A funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 11 AM in the Chapman Funeral Home, EAST BRIDGEWATER. Burial will take place at Central Cemetery, East Bridgewater.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Allan may be made to The American Cancer Society.
