Allen Derousselle Obituary

Allen Joseph Derousselle, a resident of Gonzales, LA, passed away on September 20, 2021 at the age 79. He was born on July 14, 1942 in Lafayette, LA. Allen was a veteran who proudly served in the United States Navy for 9 years. He was onboard the U.S.S. Bristor during the Vietnam War. Allen was employed with Vulcan Chemicals as an electrician for 28 years. Allen enjoyed listening to swamp music, working in his yard, boat riding with his son and spending time with family and friends. He loved his 1975 Ford truck and attending various car shows. He was a loving father and grandfather who will be greatly missed. Allen is survived by his son, Jason Derousselle; daughter, Amanda Derousselle; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Derousselle; grandchildren, Jordan Derousselle, Alex Derousselle, Ashlyn Derousselle; great-grandson, Weston Derousselle. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Edgar Derousselle and Amanda Talbot Derousselle; brother, Patrick Derousselle; sister, Angeline Derousselle.

I am so sorry to know that he won´t be fishing with us again. His spirit, smile and chuckle will be remembered always. I love you forever Uncle Allen. RIP Superman.
