At the Christmas season Allen would always anticipate his white Christmas Cactus blooming. It was his "tree". Over the years I knew him to have several versions gracing his window table. We celebrated all special occasions with carrot cake! Mostly we enjoyed stopping at Dunkin Donuts for a large iced coffee, extra cream, no sugar and one pump of pumpkin flavor when available, after shopping or doctor visits.
It was my joy to be his friend, advocate and wheels for over a decade. Enjoy your freedom and mobility! You are my hero!
