Allen Pearson Obituary

Published by Legacy on Dec. 18, 2025.
Allen Owen Pearson, age 74, passed away on December 13th. He was born on August 2, 1951, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and spent much of his life rooted in Minnesota, living in Ortonville from a young age and later making his home in Brooklyn Park.

Al is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Deb, his true love and constant companion; and his sisters, Dori Moore and Bonnie Layton. Together, Al and Deb shared a life full of love, laughter, and many cherished moments, including raising many cats who were dear members of their family.

After graduating high school, Al proudly served his country in the United States Navy for four years. Following his service, he built a long and successful career as a meticulous and highly skilled welder, a craft in which he truly excelled and took great pride.

Al had a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life. He loved fishing and always looked forward to the annual spring and fall fishing trips with his friends. He also enjoyed cribbage, woodworking, horseshoes, and lending a helping hand to anyone in need. Known as a great storyteller, Al leaves behind countless funny and memorable stories that will continue to be shared by those who knew him.

An avid traveler at heart, Al loved road trips and exploring the country, always eager to see what lay beyond the next mile.

Allen Owen Pearson will be remembered for his kindness, craftsmanship, humor, and unwavering love for Deb. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
