Allen Frankie Stephens, age 67, of Columbus, MS, passed away December 8, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charlie Whitney officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Memorial Gardens of Columbus. Visitation will be Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory.
Mr. Stephens was born September 25, 1958, in Waukegan, IL, to the late Victor Coleman Stephens and Frances Barbara Collins Stephens. He was a graduate of Caledonia High School and served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Forrestal. Mr. Stephens worked as a truck driver for Roadway Express and Brookshires Dairy. He retired as a captain from the Columbus Fire Department and was currently working as a mail carrier for the U. S. Postal Service.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Holly Stephens of Columbus, MS, son, Benjamin Frankie Stephens of Columbus, MS, daughters, Halley Winter and her husband Patrick of Cordova, AL, and Stacey Kelly and her husband Darren of Pontotoc, MS, brother, Alvin Stephens and his wife Wendi of Hartsville, SC, sister, Normia Stephens of Brooksville, FL, and grandchildren, Kaylee Winter, River Winter, and Zoey Kelly.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN, 38105, or the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX, 75284.
