Allen Wright, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, was born on May 16, 1962, and left this world on October 17, 2025, in New Ross, Indiana, surrounded by the love of his family.
Allen was known for his adventurous spirit and deep love for the outdoors. The mountains called to him, and he made it his mission to visit the Smoky Mountains every year, dreaming of returning to Yellowstone to relive cherished memories. His passion for fishing, hiking, and camping brought him immense joy, but it was the company of his family that truly filled his heart. Whether embarking on a new project or savoring quiet moments at home, Allen's greatest treasure was the time spent with his loved ones.
He was a man of faith, finding immense joy in his relationship with Jesus. His commitment to his beliefs was reflected in his thoughtful gestures, often seen handing out crosses and praying fervently for those around him. This simple yet profound act brought him happiness and comfort, embodying his loving and giving nature.
Allen is profoundly mourned by his wife, Laura Wright, who stood by his side through life's many adventures. His legacy continues with his cherished children, Zach and Brandi, who carry his spirit forward. As a grandfather, he delighted in the company of his five grandchildren—Zachary, Serenity, Brianna, Logan, and Mason—and found great joy in watching them grow. The newest addition to the family, his great-grandchild Leo, was a beacon of light in his later years.
Allen also leaves behind his loving sister, Tonda, and his supportive brother, Billy, as well as extended family who will forever hold him dear in their hearts.
His memory will forever remain in the smiles of his family, the stories shared around gatherings, and the love that will continue to radiate from all whom he touched. Allen Wright's journey on Earth may have come to an end, but his spirit will live on, woven into the fabric of his family's lives—a testimony to a man who loved deeply and gave selflessly.
