Al was a great friend and sports teammate... through our High School years. I lost track of him but always believed he would succeed in life due to his persistence. I remember when his brother Frank and Rosemary got married and were trying to drive away in their Triumph TR3 sports car. Al and I would lift up the back end of the car ...so they could not get traction to leave. Frank would get our of the car to chase us... we would run away. We did that prank 3 times before we let them drive away. So glad to hear he has children to carry on his memory. I still love the guy and the shared memories we had together.

I remember Al from my brother Brian's relationship with him their senior class at Grant High School. I was a freshman that year and remember watching Al play on the basketball team. He would come over to the house and Dad would say my god he big guy. Brian would talk about him a lot in his later years.

Sorry to hear of Ali's passing. The Zell family were neighbors of ours before moving into a new home in Sandy. Mark and I enjoyed watching their children David and Jennifer grow into young adults. I would also see Judy and Jennifer having lunch at Nordstoms and catch up with the family news. Mark appreciated the help Al gave him if he had problems with his refrigeration system at his restaurant. Memories are a wonderful way to heal your loss and also seeing Al play golf in heaven is a delightful thought. Many thoughts are with you. Charmie Budlong

Judy I am so sorry for your loss of your best friend, and husband. We will miss our time with Al. I am so glad we were able to come visit him.
I will never forget how he taught me to golf when no one else could.
