Allison Samick Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of Allison "Ally" Samick, who left this world far too soon at the age of 28.

Ally attended Whittier Elementary, West Frederick Middle and Frederick High. She played softball, basketball, and volleyball for her school and other community teams. She was recognized for her academic excellence on the Dean's List at Texas State University.

Ally was at her happiest when working with young children. Her warmth, patience, and joyful spirit made her a natural in that role. She had a terrific sense of humor, gave the best hugs, and had a gift for putting people at ease. Her chocolate chip cookies were legendary among those lucky enough to enjoy them.

She loved the beach, hiking, playing softball, and baking. These simple joys brought her peace and reflected her love of life.

Ally is survived by her loving parents, her brother, her sister, and her grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

Services will be private at the request of the family.

To the Samick Family. We are so very sorry to hear of Ally's passing. What a delightful, wonderful girl she was. She was always so polite and loving towards me. I still have a Friendship bracklet she made for me. She, Emily, and Jordan always shared a very good Friendship and it led to us being Friends as well. We are holding you in our hearts and prayers, as Ally is "Safely Home" now. God Bless You All. We Love You.

Jane said it so eloquently. Samick family, I too am devastated to hear this news. I have memories of her being bubbly and such a sweet person and yes, what a sense of humor! I loved that about her! During the Girl Scout years, being so kind to Jess, Meg´s little sister when she tagged along at times! She truly did have that love and compassion for children, even when she was a child herself! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I´m so very sorry and devastated to hear this news. Although I only knew Ally during her school years I remember her bright smile and her excellent sense of humor. She had a heart of gold and it´s hard to process that she is no longer here.
You´re all very much in my thoughts and prayers. Please accept our deepest condolences from Jane and Rob!
