Allison Gardner Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Homes & Crematory - Newark on Feb. 27, 2026.
Allison Elaine Gardner, of Newark, DE, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unforgettable memories.

Allison was a devoted mother to her three children, Najah, William, and Christopher; and son-in-law, Joseph, who were the pride and joy of her life. She was also a cherished grandmother to four beloved grandchildren, Saleem, Halima, Zamiyah, and Kaiden, with one more precious grandchild expected to arrive in late March. Her family meant everything to her, and she found her greatest happiness in being surrounded by those she loved.

Allison is also survived by her 5 siblings: Carole, Wayne, Randall, Sue and Elizabeth, along with being an aunt to 15 nieces and nephews with whom she shared a lifetime of bonds, stories, and love. Allison loved all her friends and family but the ones she cherished the most was her sister/cousin, Donna; and best friends, Kim, Yvette, and Lisa.

After retiring from SEPTA, Allison embraced a new chapter as a realtor, showing her determination and passion for connecting with people and helping others find a place to call home. She was known for her strong will – as stubborn as a bull at times – but those who truly knew her understood that beneath that toughness was a heart of gold.

Allison loved going on cruises, traveling, enjoying life's adventures, and creating joyful moments with friends and family. Her laughter, presence, and fierce love will by deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to live on through the many lives she touched. As we remember Allison, we celebrate a life full of love, resilience, and family devotion. She will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
