Allison Wood Hogan passed away on February 27, 2026. Born in Albany, Ga., she was the daughter of Mary F. DeWitt and the late Curtis D. Wood.
Allison was a proud graduate of the Brookville High School Class of 1976. She earned a B.A. and M.E. from Lynchburg College and retired from Bedford County Public Schools with 40 years of service.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Terry W. Hogan; her daughters, Lindsay Hogan, Mandi Green, and Carly Epperson, as well as seven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Tharp Funeral Home in Lynchburg.
