Alma Davis Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Perches Funeral Homes - Northeast on Feb. 4, 2026.
Alma Margaret Davis, 95, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026, in El Paso, Texas. Born on February 18, 1930, in Honolulu, Hawaii, Alma's life was marked by resilience, love, and an unwavering spirit that touched all who knew her.

Raised in the vibrant heart of Honolulu, Alma's early years were shaped by the rich culture of her island home and the profound experience of surviving the attack on Pearl Harbor as a young girl. That moment in history left an indelible mark on her life and became a testament to the strength she would carry forward through every chapter.

In 1953, Alma married the love of her life, Joseph "Joe" Davis. Their union began during her time as an NCO Queen and blossomed into a lifelong partnership filled with devotion and adventure. As a proud military wife, Alma embraced a life of travel and change with grace and adaptability. She journeyed across the globe-often with several toddlers in tow-creating homes filled with warmth and stability wherever they landed.

Alma was a devoted mother to Patricia Henderson, Barbara Davis, Richard Davis, Jeffrey Davis, Debra Davis, Christy Fernandez, Julie Davis, and Joseph Davis Jr. Her legacy also lives on through her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Joe and their son John Davis.

Known for her nurturing spirit and creative hands, Alma found joy in crocheting intricate patterns for loved ones, preparing delicious meals that brought family together around the table, and tending to her garden with care. These passions were more than hobbies-they were expressions of love that enriched the lives of those around her.

Alma was not only a mother and grandmother but also a cherished friend to many. Her kindness, strength, and enduring sense of humor left lasting impressions on everyone she met.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Cielo Vista Church on February 14, 2026.

May Alma's memory bring comfort to those who knew her and serve as a reminder of a life lived with courage, compassion, and grace.
