Aloisia Owens Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brinsfield Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. - Charlotte Hall on Dec. 15, 2025.
Aloisia "Luise" Owens, 85, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025. She was born on April 7, 1940, in Ruckendorf, Germany, to the late Josef and Aloisia Pischulti.

Aloisia was a skilled beautician and a devoted Catholic whose faith was an important part of her life. In 1966, she married William Leroy Owens, with whom she shared many loving years.

Her love for her friends was always evident. She couldn't resist a card party-whether Pitch or Rummy, she was always ready to play. Cooking was a joy for her, and her children often wished she had written down some of their favorite recipes. The beach held a special place in her heart; those who knew her well were familiar with her love of people-watching and putting her feet in the water. Trips to Atlantic City were a perennial favorite, where she especially enjoyed playing the slot machines, particularly poker machines. Aloisia was known for her warm heart, welcoming spirit, and unwavering dedication to her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Leroy Owens.

Aloisia is survived by her children: William James Owens of Mechanicsville, MD; Casandra Marie Johnson of Woodstock, VA; and Susan Ann Owens of Mechanicsville, MD. She is also survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all of whom she cherished deeply.

On December 22, 2025, the family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Brinsfield Funeral Home & Crematory, 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held the following day at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 28297 Old Village Road, Mechanicsville, MD 20659. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Bryantown Church, 13715 Notre Dame Place, Bryantown, MD 20617.
