In Loving Memory of Alvaro Martinez Ruiz

Alvaro Martinez Ruiz, 83, of Millsap, Texas passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 30, 1941, in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Alvaro was married to the love of his life, Maria, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and devotion. Together they built a beautiful family and a home filled with faith and joy. Maria preceded him in death, and their reunion in heaven brings comfort to those who loved them both.

A man of great strength, perseverance, and integrity, Alvaro worked tirelessly throughout his life to provide for his family. His love was steady and unconditional. Expressed not only through his words, but through the daily example he set of hard work, humility, and selflessness. His hands told the story of a life dedicated to serving and caring for others.

Alvaro is survived by his four children: Alvaro Ruiz Jr., Alfredo Ruiz (Robin), Aracely Ruiz Seitz (Doug), and Ana Ruiz Sikes (Bubba). He was the beloved grandfather of thirteen grandchildren and the treasured great-grandfather of twenty-four great-grandchildren. His family was his greatest joy and source of pride.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria Ruiz.

Those who knew Alvaro will remember his warmth, kindness, and quiet wisdom. He filled every room with laughter, love, and stories that will be cherished and passed down through generations. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In their strength, unity, and the love he instilled in them.

Though he is no longer with us, Alvaro’s spirit will remain forever in the lives he touched and the family he built with such devotion.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 14, 2025 at Fairview Cemetery in Millsap.
