Rev. Alvin and Glenda Clay represented love and devotion to the ministry of Christ. I spent many Sundays at the Will of God Church founded by the Clays. There were many opportunities to participate and make my contribution to the ministry of the church. I am sending my condolences and words of comfort. I do miss their presence in Marshall.

His wife, Glenda, introduced him at a Juneteenth Outing at the Goss's home in Marshall, TX shortly after making Marshall their home. Glenda, a former student of mine, and Alvin visited the Church I attend and soon became like a part of my family. The Women Worshiping God Through Music Choir, which Glenda was the organizer, made Alvin an integral part of all the members who dearly loved him. Alvin always had a heartwarming smile on his face and treated everyone with respect and love. Together, they founded The Will of God Family Ministries where many wonderful occasions were shared and witnessed by the Marshall Community of God's people. My husband, Phillip, and I will always cherish the times were were blessed to be in his presence. May he rest in peace as we offer our sincere condolences to his wife and family.
