Alvin Corbit "Corby" Fulton Sr.

Alvin Corbit "Corby" Fulton, Sr., age 80, of Middletown, DE, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, September 28, 2025.

Born in Wilmington, DE on April 14, 1945, he was a son of the late Alvin L. and Gladys (Biddle) Fulton. Corby graduated from William Penn High School and then enlisted in the United States Army. He was a special forces Army Ranger and Para Trouper where he completed 63 jumps. Following his honorable discharge, he went to work for Joseph Seagram's as a salesman, which later became Delaware Importers. There, Corby worked as a warehouse manager, retiring after many years of dedicated service.

Corby and Bonnie looked forward to trips to Northern Maine where they shared many special memories. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and crabbing. Corby loved spending his time tending to his vegetable garden. A friend to the community, he was a member of the Freemasons of the Ionic Lodge #31 since 2002.

In addition to his parents, Corby was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Bonnie Jean (May) Fulton; son, Gene Biddle; and sister, Janice Carter. He is survived by his children, Alvin "Corby" Fulton, Jr. (Heather) and Jennifer Spencer (Bobby); grandchildren, Logan Fulton and Kasey Bonk; sister, Mary Williams; and countless nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:30 am until 11:30 am on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE, where a Masonic service will begin at 11:30 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:45 am. A committal service will follow in the chapel of Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE.
