Alvin Garnett Sr.

Alvin "Darnell" Garnett, Sr., age 71 of Morganfield, KY passed away Saturday, November 1, 2025. He was born January 1, 1954. He was a loving husband and wonderful father. He worked for 26 years at Young and Conway and he retired from the City of Morganfield after 18 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and any outdoor activity. Darnell was very compassionate and would do anything for anybody. He was a very loving granddaddy. Darnell will be missed dearly. The laughs and talks of wisdom. His dog, Lucy will miss him terribly.

The service will be 1PM Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield. Rev. Richard Pollard will officiate. The visitation will be 10AM until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
