Alvin Eugene" Block" Malone was 73 passed away at home on February 11, 2026. Services will be Wednesday, February 25, 2026 beginning with visitation at 11 am and funeral service to follow at 1 pm at Rodgers-Awkard & Lyons, 951 S. Preston Street. Interment will be in Green Meadows Cemetery.

Alvin attended Central high school and was skilled as a Roof worker after that he created jobs working for himself moving and hauling with his truck.

Alvin was a man full of life and personality, he loved to sing and dance had lots of smooth energy even when he walked and did he like to dress was super sharp when he did. Alvin loved sports as a young man he played baseball and basketball and became a referee. He loved fish and most of all helping others. He may be seen transporting his neighbors to and from the store or doing yard work ,or community project keke's sistas keepers on top of list he loaded and unloaded for many of their outreach events with his truck. He was very knowledgeable on his politics and actively engaged in issues that matters to him .

In his later years renewed his relationship with Christ and Joined New Start Ministries under Pastor Terrance Hearn where it was so evident he was happy in his soul and spirit. Everyone that knew Alvin loved him and enjoyed his sense of humor and his quotes and way with words. He will be deeply missed in the Flaget Community.

He was preceded in death by his mother Ozzie Lee Wright Malone Mumphrey, brother McKenley Wright Bell, sister, Celester (Ann) Wright Huges (Leon), Embry Lee Wilson Maolne .

He leaves to Cherish his memory brother Bennie M. Malone (Louise) sister Irma R. Hickman (Dr. Donnie Hickman ) a host of nieces and nephews ,Anthony and Alvin had an unbreakable special bond.
