Alvin Myers Obituary
Alvin Dewey Myers, 87, of Panama City, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 6, 2022.
Rev. Myers was born on March 10, 1935, in Holmes County, FL.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles A. and Anna L. Myers; brothers, Charles R. Myers, Ralph Myers, Dallas D. Myers, and Thomas R. Myers.
Left to treasure Rev. Myers' memory is his wife of 59 years, Geneva Alford Myers; daughter, Melody Dorman (Gary); son, Marcus Myers (Tammy); grandchildren, Caz, Courtney (Patrick), Caleb (Savannah), and Cory (Ali) Myers, Caydence, Brailey, and Krissy Dorman, and Chilton Pape; great-grandchildren, Colton, Blair, Carson, and Aiden Myers; sisters, Evelyn Myers Hopkins and Wendy Myers Brooks; and a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.
A visitation will take place on Friday, April 8, 2022, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, with Rev. Tommy Moore and Rev. Bobby Thompson officiating. Rev. Myers will be laid to rest at 3:00 p.m. following the service, at Welcome Assembly of God Cemetery in Grand Ridge, Florida.
