Hardly a day passes when positive thoughts of Alyssa don´t enter the minds of so many of us.... She is truly missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family as you mourn the passing a Alyssa. She was a talented, intelligent, and energetic woman who loved her family. We have great memories of Easter egg hunts and cookie decorating at your Pasco home. Our family still uses the Christmas stockings that she custom made for us. We looked forward to hearing from her each Christmas and know she lived life fully each day. Thanks for letting us know of her passing in the TC Herald.

After the shock of learning of this transition Wednesday morning, It is with great fondness that I remember the many hours spent with this fine lady and her family and the occasional talks on the phone after I met her sister Claire Summerhill. Alyssa would visit her mother and Claire in Utah often when Alyssa lived in Idaho and also meet in some spot in between. A special remembrance was on a trip to the Oregon Shakespeare festival with Nancy, Claire and Alyssa, the three sisters. There were also visits to her Idaho and Kentucky homes for special occasions including a wedding. The sisters had a visit together several months ago in Las Vegas where Alyssa gave a talk, available as video, in The Center for Spiritual Living, where her sister is minister, about the joys of her life among the difficulties. I is with great joy that I remember her enjoying her grandchildren in her Kentucky home.

Aunt Alyssa,
You will be dearly missed by your family and your friends. I've heard some wonderful stories about you recently and you were an extrodinary woman. My heart goes out to the girls and Laurin during this difficult time. May they find peace and hope in the days to come as they learn to live with you away for a time.
Sincerly,
Krista Beth

Bless you for all your kindness, strength, and decency. I'll always remember you as a humane, caring person, with a super human good cheer.
I can't remember ever hearing an angry word from you, regardless of circumstances. Heaven is undoubtedly a cheerier place now, and our world's a bit sadder. Happy trails Alyssa, we'll miss you...

Alyssa- auntie, thank you for being apart of my life. Even though it has been long time since I saw you. As a child I have some good memories of you which will stay in my heart. You took me in even though I was from a different family- adopted. You will be missed. See you when we all get to our new home in heaven! Love, ya,

Alyssa, As your family reads this guest book, I pray that they will be filled with renewed joy and hope for the future. That the memory of you will bring forth the special moments that we all got a chance to share with you. For each person, these memories are different, but each one brings a smile to the face...The courage you faced your battles, your determination and strength; the many travels we got to take with you by the sharing of photos and special stories. You will be missed but am so thankful that now you can rest and delight in the wonders of heaven and snuggle at Jesus feet. Prayers for the family as they go through the process of grieving that they will be comforted.
