It is with both heavy hearts and joyful memories that we announce the passing of Amalia "Molly" Limas Reyes Sigford, who departed peacefully on May 15, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on January 15, 1947, in Bryan, Texas, Amalia was the cherished daughter of Mage and Delores (Cadriel) Limas.

Amalia was much more than a homemaker.  She was a truth-teller and soul-winner for Jesus Christ, as well as an anchor in her family’s life. With an accounting degree from San Jacinto College, she skillfully managed her household with love, warmth, and cheerful devotion. Amalia had a zest for life that was contagious—whether it was enjoying a tasty burger and a cold Coke, digging her hands into the soil while gardening, or praying and taking time to study the word of God, she always found joy in the simple pleasures of life.

A joyful resident of Centerville for about twelve years, Amalia was a devoted member of Victory Baptist Church and embraced her community with open arms. She was known for her enthusiastic support of her family, particularly as the biggest fan of her newest great-grandson. Her love stretched far and wide, as she deeply cherished her children, along with all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She even found joy in attending her granddaughter’s rock band RoZY concerts and seeking out new shopping and traveling adventures. She was a great listening ear for all who knew her.

Molly was preceded in death by both of her parents; husbands, Isaac Reyes Jr. and Jerry Sigford; brother, George Limas, and little sister, Dahlia Limas who died of polio at an young age. She is survived by children, Barbie Zurovec of Beasley, Christy Flores (David) of Rosenberg, and Isaac "Trey" Reyes (Jamie) of Odessa; siblings, Roy Limas (Lupe), Teresa Gutierrez (Sam), Rudy Limas (Linda), Augustine Limas, and Josephine Limas; grandchildren, Jesse Sarabia, Mark Reyes (Callie), Cody Reyes, Zoe Flores, Zacary Reyes (Morgan), and Molly Mackenzie Flores (Rene); and great-grandchildren, Noelia, Mia, Juliette, and Jaelyn Sarabia and Daniel Reyes.

Molly's spirit will continue to live on in all who knew her, as her life is celebrated on Sunday, May 18, 2025, starting with visitation at 12 Noon, followed by the funeral service at 2 P.M., at Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas. Afterward, Molly will be laid to rest in New Salem Cemetery where her memory will be honored as she is bid farewell with love.

Come join as stories, laughter, and the beautiful memories are shared that Amalia gifted everyone throughout her life. The life of a truly remarkable woman who brought joy to everyone she met will be celebrated as those that loved her come together to honor her life.
