Amanda Branton Spence, 85 years of age, passed on Sunday, October 10,2021 at her home in Goose Creek, South Carolina.
Amanda was born November 25, 1935 in Saint George, South Carolina to the late Obadiah and Tennie Easterlin. She is proceeded in death by her late husband James H. Spence Jr; her sons James Branton Jr. and Gregory Branton; her daughter Helen Branton; and her brother William Easterlin. Her surviving relatives are Fred L. Branton of Goose Creek, SC; Connie B. Thrasher of Goose Creek, SC; Amanda Ginny Murphy (Robert) of Summerville, SC; Jeffrey G. Branton (Laura) of Williamsburg, VA; Roy L. Branton (Susan) of Goose Creek, SC; Tennie Deedee Branton of Goose Creek, SC; Priscilla Prissy Fry (Clyde) of Vero Beach,FL. She was blessed with many grandchildren and great grands. She is also survived by Obie Easterlin(Brenda) of Charleston; SC, Arthur Easterlin(Sandra) of Summerville, SC; Doris Easterlin of Goose Creek, SC; and Joann Easterlin of Charleston, SC. She was a loving mother and she gave her children the foundation of Jesus Christ. She will be sadly missed.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Friday, October 15,2021 at Harbour Lake Baptist Church, 1056 Redbank Road. Burial will be following at the White Church Cementary, Highway 165 Ravenal, SC. Following the burial there will be a bereavement at 8265 Delemar Highway, Ravenel, SC 29470. Flower will be sent to Simplicity Funeral Home, 281 Treeland Dr. Ladson, SC 29456.
